1. Organizer
Miles & More GmbH, Flughafen Frankfurt Tor 21, Airportring, Building 322, 60546 Frankfurt am Main, Germany (hereinafter referred to as “Organizer” or “MMG”) is organizing the “World Cup 2026 Prediction Campaign” (hereinafter referred to as the “Campaign”) exclusively within the Uptrip app (hereinafter referred to as the “App” or “Uptrip”) from 11 June 2026 (00:00 CEST) until 19 July 2026 (23:59 CEST).
Apple Inc. and Google Inc. are neither organizers nor sponsors of this Campaign.
2. Promotion Period
The Campaign begins on 11 June 2026 (00:00 CEST) and ends on 19 July 2026 (23:59 CEST).
The Sweepstakes consists of several consecutive rounds aligned with the progression of the tournament. Participation in individual raffles depends on the respective tournament rounds.
3. Eligibility, Participation and Processing
a. Participation is open to all Uptrip users who have reached the age of 18 at the time of participation, have a Travel ID connected to their Uptrip user account, reside within the European Union, and are not excluded from participation in accordance with the following provisions or by the Organizer.
b. Employees of the Lufthansa Group and their relatives are excluded from participation.
c. The Organizer reserves the right to exclude individual participants for legitimate reasons (e.g. manipulation or violation of these Terms and Conditions). In such cases, prizes may subsequently be withdrawn and reclaimed.
d. Participation in the Campaign is free of charge. Participation and chances of winning are independent of the purchase of goods or services. Any costs incurred by participants in connection with participation (e.g. internet or mobile phone charges) shall be borne by the participants themselves.
e. Participation in the Sweepstakes takes place within the Uptrip app by selecting one country team. Each participant may select exactly one team. This selection is binding and cannot be changed.
Participants may join the Sweepstakes at any time during the promotion period. If participation takes place after the start of an ongoing round, participation in raffles will only begin with the next full round.
f. The Sweepstakes consists of several raffles, each corresponding to one tournament round. Participation in a raffle takes place automatically if the selected team reaches the respective round.
A team is considered to have advanced if it progresses to the next tournament round (including progression via penalty shootout).
Participants whose selected team is eliminated from the tournament will no longer participate in subsequent raffles.
The winners will be determined by random draw among all eligible participants after the completion of each round. The raffle will take place within two days/weeks after completion of the respective round/promotion period. Winners will subsequently be notified within seven days after the raffle via a pop-up in their Uptrip app / via the email address stored in their Travel ID profile. Prizes will be distributed within seven days/weeks.
g. By participating in the Sweepstakes, participants accept these Terms and Conditions and confirm that they have read the applicable privacy notices.
4. Prizes
The following prizes will be raffled as part of the Campaign:

Participants may win multiple prizes across different rounds, provided their selected team remains in the tournament.

For the final round:
The number of Frequent Traveller Status rewards corresponds to the number of goals scored during the final match. For example, if three goals are scored, three winners will be selected.
The Frequent Traveller Status will be credited within seven (7) days after winner notification. A valid Miles & More account linked to the participant’s Travel ID is required.
There is no entitlement to an alternative prize. A modification or exchange of prizes is not possible. Cash payment of prizes (including partial payment) is excluded. Prize claims are non-transferable.
For the Frequent Traveller Status reward, no voucher or document will be issued. The Frequent Traveller Status will be granted directly to the winners’ Miles & More account. The status will remain valid until 28 February 2028.
5. Data Protection
MMG, as the controller responsible for the Sweepstakes, processes personal data for the purpose of conducting and administering the Sweepstakes. MMG collects the following personal data: first name, last name, date of birth, Travel ID, Miles & More service card number, and email address. Where necessary for prize fulfillment (e.g. status assignment), participant data may be shared with Deutsche Lufthansa AG to the extent required.
The legal basis for processing is the performance of a contract pursuant to Art. 6(1) sentence 1 lit. b GDPR.
Service providers acting as processors pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR may be used for the implementation of the Sweepstakes.
Personal data will be deleted once it is no longer required for the stated purposes unless statutory retention obligations or legitimate interests (e.g. establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims) require otherwise.
Participants are entitled to the rights granted under Art. 15 et seq. GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

6. Amendments and Termination
MMG reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Should individual provisions become invalid or unenforceable, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
MMG further reserves the right to terminate, interrupt, or modify the Sweepstakes at any time without prior notice, particularly if circumstances arise that disrupt or prevent the planned execution of the Campaign (e.g. technical issues or legal requirements).
7. Limitation of Liability
MMG shall not be liable for damages arising in connection with participation in the Sweepstakes, particularly due to errors, delays, interruptions in the use of the app, transmission failures, disruptions to technical systems or services, incorrect content, loss or deletion of data, viruses, or other causes, unless such damages were caused intentionally or through gross negligence by MMG.
The above exclusions of liability shall not apply in cases of injury to life, body, or health. They shall furthermore not apply in the event of negligent breach of essential contractual obligations; in such cases, liability shall be limited to foreseeable, contract-typical damages.
8. Miscellaneous
Legal recourse is excluded.
Please note that prizes from this Campaign may be subject to income tax. Any taxes payable on prizes shall be borne by the winners themselves and must be paid to the competent tax authorities.
