We sincerely apologize for the issues some users experienced over the past weeks. Uptrip is now fully compatible with Android 8 and higher, ensuring broader accessibility across devices.
Google continuously raises the API level requirements for Android apps, which meant developers had to make adjustments to ensure compatibility with the latest Android versions (such as Android 14) while still supporting older versions.
This led to issues with Uptrip on some users' devices, as Google initially did not allow us to provide the latest version of Uptrip for smartphones running Android 13 and below.
We’re happy to report that our developers have resolved the issue. We found a way to provide the latest version of Uptrip, with full functionality, to all users on Android 8 and above.
If you’ve had trouble accessing Uptrip on your Android device, please update the app, and it should work as expected. Rest assured, all your cards and collections remain safe and available.
As a small but dedicated team supporting a rapidly growing app, we value transparency with our users. We’ve learned important lessons from this experience and are committed to improving how we handle similar situations in the future to minimize disruptions.
We apologize for any inconvenience and sincerely appreciate your patience.
Thank you, and happy collecting!
The Uptrip Team
